Packaging & Care Guide

This page contains some useful information and advice on how to pack and care for your personalised glassware.

Glassware packaging guide

Whether you order a single glass or a set of two, each individual glass will be packaged in our protective recyclable and reusable glassware packaging bubble. The secured glass within its bubble is then packaged in our premium dust bag/s.

If you do not choose to order a gift box, then your dust bag secured glassware will be packaged with tissue paper, and placed inside our shipping mailer to arrive at your nominated destination safe and sound.

If you do choose to receive a gift box, this will fit a single glass, or a set of two glasses. If you choose to order more than 2 glasses, then you will need one gift box per set of two.

Our gift boxes are matte black, with high shine James Davis logo and magnetic closure. We hope you love your James Davis glassware, and enjoy many happy moments with them in the years to come.

Glassware care guide

Follow our guide for the best results in keeping your glassware in world-class condition:

James Davis recommends hand washing your glassware one piece at a time in moderately hot water using a mild detergent. Use a soft cleaning cloth and avoid scouring pads or abrasive cleansers.

We do not recommend washing your glassware using a dishwasher.

Dry your glassware with a small microfibre cloth and finalise using a polishing cloth, with special attention to your personalised monogram for crystal-clear, display worthy results. Hold your glass by the bowl while drying and avoid twisting the bowl and stem in opposite directions.

As the rim is the most delicate part of your glass, do not store or dry upside down.

If you have enjoyed a cold or ice-cold beverage, ensure your glass reaches room temperature before hand washing. Once you have washed your glassware, ensure your glass reaches room temperature before pouring a cold or ice-cold beverage.

If you have enjoyed a hot beverage, ensure your glass reaches room temperature before hand washing. Once you have washed your glassware, ensure your glass reaches room temperature before pouring a hot beverage.
